COMMON EYE EMERGENCIES : Whatever the concern, we encourage our patients to come in and let us take a careful look to be sure no serious, sight threatening condition is present. We make every effort to put eye emergencies into the schedule as soon as possible to prevent prolonged discomfort or distress.
Some of the most common episodes of eye emergencies we see in our practice:
- Eye infections, eye pain
- Itchy allergic eyes
- Dry, scratchy or excessively watery eyes
- Foreign objects/particles in eyes
- Sudden incidence of floating spots in vision or light flashes in vision field
- Severe patch of eye redness in the white part without any discomfort or vision change
