WHAT TO DO: Overland Eye Associates is dedicated to caring for the entire range of primary eyecare needs. We certainly emphasize the provision of proper eyeglasses and contact lenses, but when the eyes get sick or injured we are also always available for emergency visits. When a patient experiences an eye injury, acquires sudden onset red or irritated eyes, or has any sort of unexplainable sort of eye discomfort, they are encouraged to call immediately for an appointment to see one of the eye doctors to begin the treatment of the condition.
We are able to prescribe eye drop treatments for most common acute eye conditions but if we discover a more severe complicated condition (eg. detachment of the retina) we will promptly make a referral to an appropriate specialist for treatment of that condition. |
